Tectonic Protection Plan (TPP)
All renters are responsible for any damage to or loss of rented equipment. Our optional Tectonic Protection Plan (TPP) — priced at 13% of your rental fee — limits your financial exposure so you're not on the hook for the full repair or replacement cost. If you decline TPP, you must either provide proof of insurance covering rented equipment or accept full financial responsibility.
Tectonic Flexibility Pricing Tier
We believe in fair billing. Our Tectonic Flexibility Pricing Tier automatically applies discounts for longer projects (up to 30% off), and any rental spanning the weekend (Saturday/Sunday) is billed as one day of usage. Additionally, if you complete your job early, we adjust your final invoice to the rate tier you actually utilized.
Days 1–2
Perfect for quick, same-day or next-day jobs. You pay the full daily rate for the entire rental. Pick up on Friday, return Monday? That's only 1 day — weekends don't count.
3–6 Days
When your rental spans 3 to 6 rental days (nights kept), the 20% discount applies to every day of your rental. No need to request it — the savings kick in automatically.
7+ Days
For week-long and multi-week projects, the 30% discount applies to every day of your rental. The longer you rent, the more you save.
How It Works
You pay by the night. Each night you keep the equipment counts as one rental day — weekends (Saturday & Sunday nights) are always excluded. Pick up Friday, return Monday? That's 1 rental day. You keep the equipment over the weekend at no extra charge.
Discounts apply to all days. Once your rental hits a tier (3+ days = 20% off, 7+ days = 30% off), the discount applies to your entire rental — not just the extra days.
Early return? No problem. If you finish your job ahead of schedule, we adjust your final invoice to match the rate tier you actually used. You never pay for days you don't need.
Example: Picking up a machine on Monday and returning it the following Friday (10 nights, minus 2 weekend nights) = 8 rental days. At $250/day, that's the 7+ day tier: 8 × $250 = $2,000 − 30% ($600) = $1,400. Simple and transparent.

For contractors, landscapers, and companies who rent regularly. Create an account and upgrade to Contractor from your profile to unlock these benefits.
Insurance Required: Contractor accounts must carry commercial general liability insurance that covers rented equipment. A valid certificate of insurance must be on file before your first rental.
Homeowner Rental
For homeowners and DIYers with a project to get done. Create a free account to track your quotes, bookings, and invoices.
Your Protection Options: Purchase the TPP to cap your liability at 10% of repair/replacement costs, provide proof of your own insurance that covers rented equipment, or accept full financial responsibility for any damage or loss.
